Duckies!
A painting for the sake of joy.
Sometimes we just need a little bit of brightness. If you like ducks, and joy (but with a moody palette) then this is the painting for you! This painting represents what I think of when people use the phrase “get your ducks in a row”, my ducks likely look like this, a bit haphazard and swimming in circles, more real then if they were neatly lined up. Speaking of circles, they are a big theme in my work as they symbolize cycles, in life, in nature and sometimes in the way we think.
Please enjoy these little ducks - I hope they make you smile!
I’m thinking more duck work in the future?
The deets:
Oil and Acrylic on Canvas - 8×8”
Framed: Oak Wood Frame to 9.25 × 9.25”
A big thank you to Lisa @ourlifeontheprairie for sharing her lovely photos with me and allowing me to use them as references! These are her duckies!
